GO JETS!
J-E-T-S Jets Jets Jets Jets I am writing about the New York Jets. The Jets started in 1959. They were originally known as the New York Titans.
The Titans changed to the Jets because in Shea Stadium many Jets went over the stadium. The Titans started in the Polo Grounds in Manhattan. They moved to Shea Stadium in Queens because they had trouble attracting crowds. They moved to Giants Stadium in East Rutherford because their contract expired at Shea Stadium. So as you can see the Jets have moved a lot.
The Jets have had lots of amazing players. Joe Namath was the quarterback that led them to Super Bowl history in 1969. Lavernues Coles is a great wide receiver he plays currently. Mark Gastineau and Joe Klecko were part of the New York sack exchange.
The New York Jets are my favorite team and I think they have an interesting history.

Keeping New Jersey A Safe Place
In New Jersey people want to live safe. So by driving less you can stop air pollution. People can ride bikes, walk or ride skates instead of driving cars. You can also save oceans and fish. To save oceans and fish you can stop putting trash in the oceans. All the species are an important part of the Earth. So always release fish that you don’t want.
Keeping a healthy place for children and adults is very important. You can reuse and recycle all the time. By reusing and recycling you will keep the environment very clean. By recycling you can saves tress and wildlife. You can also reuse paper. You should make signs that say “Don’t Pollute in New Jersey”.
The group C.O.A. (Clean Ocean Action) is keeping New Jersey clean and safe for adults and children living in New Jersey. They are finding people who throw trash in the ocean everyday. They are also cleaning oceans and putting up signs that say “Keep New Jersey a Safe Place”. That is the group that is keeping New Jersey a saf3e place for everyone. So get involved and help New Jersey.

The Twin Lights
Do you like lights and beautiful views that are worth climbing sixty four steps? Then come on down to the Twin Light Historic Site.
If you like lights then check out their exhibits. You can see several lights used by boats and the Twin Lights such as fresenal lenses which the Twin Lights were the first to use these lenses.
If you also like views come on down because these views will take your breath away. You’ll also get a little exercise when you climb those sixty four steps.
Do you know that in the 1860`s the Twin Lights fell in disrepair so in 1862 they built a new Twin Lights. If you are a tourist come on down! You will take tours about why the Twin Lights are important. Here is an example, if it wasn’t for the Twin Lights boats would not get from place to place at night. Maybe even take a dip at the beach. You will have the time of your life, I promise!

Welch’s Juice Company
Did you ever hear about Welch’s Juice Company? I hope you did because it’s a great company. The founder of this company is named Thomas B. Welch. They produce different kinds of juices, jams, jellies and more.
The company was important to New Jersey because it has provided many jobs. They have been offering jobs for people to make more foods and drinks. The juices they produce are: grape juice and cranberry juice and more types of juices.
Remember how I told you what they provided, guess what else they provide: bottled and canned juices, frozen juices, dried fruit bars, and single serve fruit juice. I guess everything they sell has to do with fruit! Almost every store should have Welch’s fruit juices.
They say that when Thomas B. Welch had found the company he had some grapes set aside because he lived in Vineland, New Jersey (it is named for the many vineyards it has).
So if you haven’t tried anything that Welch’s have produced try something today!

What Can We Do About Pollution?
There is a lot of pollution going on and we have to do something about it. If we stop this pollution it can make the world a better place for all living things. First of all conserve energy by biking, walking, or carpooling. Try reducing the amount of time you’re watching TV. Recycle bottles, containers, paper, and other stuff. You can reuse this stuff too.
Stop polluting the air by not smoking, not burning gases, and not putting chemicals into the air. If the opposite happens it could cause global warming. Besides do you know what is in cigarettes you smoke with? Tar is inside those cigarettes. You don’t want that in your mouth!
You can try to put up signs that say no littering or something like that. You can also clean up litter after school. It may not be fun, but you be rewarded with a prize, like a clean environment!
You may not know it, but global warming is happening now. Animals could die from our pollution. They could think litter is food and die. Is pollution ever going to stop?
